Gervaise, Claude (Gervaise)

Claude Gervaise was a French editor, composer and arranger active in Paris from about 1540 until about 1560. He worked as editor “musicien compositeur” for Attaingnant, for whom he edited various collections of dance music. He also worked with Attaingnant[‘s widow until about 1558. Lawrence F.
